GGTU, or Govind Guru Tribal University, was formally known as Ravij Gandhi Tribal University. GGTU is named after a social reformer and a freedom fighter. who played a very important role in uplifting the tribal communities in the country. The GGTU is located in Banswara, Rajasthan; it was established in 2012. The university has a multitude of degree and diploma courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This is mainly in fields like, namely, business & management teaching & education, beauty & fitness, science, law, hospitality & travel, and humanities & social sciences. MBA/PGDM, LL.M., M.A., M.S., PG Diploma, and UG Diploma are among the most sought courses at the university. The university is approved by UGC, and the main mission of the university is the empowerment of the tribal youth of this area through quality education and research by inculcating professional competence and uprightness to make them compatible globally. The GGTU has a modern infrastructure, which includes academic blocks and laboratories, sports facilities, etc. GGTU also offers placements to students.
