Guru Nanak College, (GNC) was established in 1971, founded by Sikh Religion, by the Guru Nanak Educational Society (GNES). The college was re-accredited as -˜A' Grade by National Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC) in 2013. Admission

Seeking candidates, who wanted to take admission in Guru Nanak College should be eligible for admission before filling up the application form, candidates who have passed their qualification examination in first attempt will be given preference. All candidates will be selected on the basis of merit only. The candidate will be admitted to the programme only after the interview with the concerned heads of the departments (HOD) and the principal.

  • Career awareness programmes are being organised every year to let students to give awareness to them with the current requirements of the market and to let them know about.
  • Career guidance is provided through, as a comprehensive, developmental program designed to assist individuals in marketing and implementing occupational choices. The students will develop to make mature and informed decisions to manage their careers. The guidance helps the students to reflect on their ambitions, interests, qualifications, and abilities.
  • Career Opportunities are identified for the particular job that may be a stepping stone to achieve the ambitions of the students. The placement cell provides a window of potential opportunities by helping the students to determine the tasks and to inculcate the greater sense of responsibility for identifying and managing their own career.
  • Mock Interviews are the ways to find the hidden talents of the students. The placement cell is conducting mock interviews every so often to help the students to reduce their anxiety about interviewing. This will help the students to boost their confidence. The students will perform a few dry runs before they actually appear for an interview
  • Internship: The Internship Offers would also be cascaded to the students and the best of the efforts would be taken in order to get the maximum internship offers to the Students.
