The Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), which was established in 1931, is a globally recognized institution for training and research in statistics and allied sciences. In addition to its headquarters in Kolkata, ISI has four other centers in the cities of Bengaluru, Chennai, Tezpur, Delhi, and Kolkata. In 1959, the Indian government designated ISI as an Institute of National Importance. Undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate diploma, and research courses are available at the Indian Institute of Statistics in Kolkata. Admission to the B. Stat and B.
