Institute of Home Economics admission process-
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET), conducted by the National Test Agency (NTA), is the government exam used to determine admission to all undergraduate and graduate programs at Institute of Home Economics . Candidates must appear for CUET UG in order to be admitted to UG programs, and CUET PG in order to be admitted to PG programs. Candidates wishing to be considered for admission to different programs must fill out the University of Delhi's Common Seat Allocation System (UG) and appear in the CUET-UG. Candidates will need to indicate their choices for the combination of program and college while filling out the CSAS UG. Admission Process:-
- Candidates for a particular discipline or college will be given provisional seats at the University of Delhi.
Candidates will have to Accept the temporary seat that has been assigned to them. The candidates' eligibility and uploaded documents will be examined by the college. within the time frame specified.
- The following will be verified by the college:
-minimal requirements for applications, - program-specific requirements for candidates, -Maps of Subjects: Only CUET topics passed in the second semester of high school will be considered by UoD.
- The authenticity and legitimacy of the credentials and records provided by the applicant.
- The College will choose whether to Approve or Reject the candidates' provisionally allotted seats after verification.
- After being accepted by the college, the candidates must pay the Admission Fee.
Physical verification of documents is done by the college. Documents to be Verified by the College of Admission:-
The candidates shall be required to upload copies of relevant certificates/documents at the time of applying (as applicable) and produce the same certificates/ documents in original at the time of physical verification at the college.
1) Marks sheet for class XII.
2) Original/Provisional Certificate for Class XII.
3) Certificate of Class X Board Examination (for birthdate) Class X Marks-Sheet No. 4.
5) A migration certificate from the university or board, if the student is not from Delhi.
6) A transfer certificate from an institution (if the student is not from Delhi). 6) Recently issued Character Certificate.
7) Four passport-sized photos, on the back of which should be printed the applicant's name and the course they are applying for.
8) A University of Delhi Eligibility Certificate (for candidates who have completed a board examination other than those specified in the University of Delhi Bulletin of Information).
9) A copy of their school certificate or mark sheet attesting to their Hindi proficiency in class VIII (for those who have studied Hindi only through class VIII and do not want to pursue further studies).
10) For candidates who have only studied English up to class VIII, a certificate of having completed that course in the language.
10) SC/ST Certificate (in the candidate's name) from the appropriate authorities – for SC/ST Candidates.
11) OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate: For OBC applicants, a certificate in their name is granted by the appropriate government.

A minimum of 55 percent marks should be availed by students to get enrolled in the institute for masters and undergraduate programme .
