Institute of Medical Sciences - Admissions
IMS BHU Admission is through marks obtained in NEET UG, NEET PG, and NEET MDS for all MBBS, B.Sc Nursing, BAMS, B.Pharma, MS/ MD, BDS, MDS, and M.Pharm courses. For B.Sc Nursing and M.Sc in Health Statistics, admission is through merit in the last qualifying examination. For PhD, a student has to clear BHU-RET conducted by the university. Candidates who clear the entrance exam have to appear for all-India and state-level quota counseling for the allocation of seats for admission.

According to BHU Overall NIRF report 2024, the median package offered during UG 5-year and PG 3-year placements 2023 stood at INR 16 LPA and INR 13.5 LPA respectively. Previously, according to BHU NIRF report 2023, the median package offered during BHU UG 5-year and PG 3-year placements 2022 stood at INR 15 LPA and INR 13.50 LPA, respectively. The institute has earlier published the NIRF report 2022.
