Jananayak Chandrashekhar University (JNCU) is a state university in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was established in 2016 under the Uttar Pradesh State University Act 1073. The government of Uttar Pradesh established the institution, which is named after Jananayak Chandrashekhar, a freedom fighter and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister.
JNCU provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in a variety of areas, including arts, science, commerce, ayurveda, law, education, engineering, and many more. JNCU: Admission 2024
Admission to Jananayak Chandrashekhar University takes place online.JNCU's admission process typically begins in May and ends in August each year (precise dates may vary). The selection process for all of its undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs is based on merit (i.e., grades obtained in the most recent qualifying exam) as well as national/state level entrance exams or university-led entrance exams. The JNCU Entrance Test is used to admit students to all undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs provided by the university. However, for admission to the BAMS course, the university accepts NEET UG marks.
Furthermore, based on the marks obtained and the course chosen, JNCU's admission committee will compile a merit list of qualified candidates. Candidates must verify the merit list and report for counselling on the specified date and time. Following counselling, the shortlisted candidates will be invited for admissions, where they must go to their assigned colleges and pay the entrance cost. To be eligible for the offered courses, all interested students must first register and apply for the admission exam.

JNCU Facilities
JNCU is situated in the heart of the Ganga Valley. The university's campus spans 54 acres and houses various academic departments as well as development cells such as anti-ragging, placement, women's redressal, student counselling, and more. In addition to assuring the development of its students, the JNCU campus has recreational facilities such as football and cricket courts, as well as guest accommodations.
Hostels: JNCU offers separate facilities for males and girls. The hostels are well-equipped with Wi-Fi, clean drinking water, and safe food.
