JNU Library
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has a huge central library which remains open 24*7. Students can access the JNU Library both online and offline. The library uses Virtual Integrated Library Management Software (VTLS) and provides access to 22 databases through UGC-INFONET consortia. It has a collection of a huge variety of books, journals, magazines, novels, more than 1 Lakh e-Books from numerous international publishers and genres. Moreover, it has subscription to 37 Online databases followed by 50,000 e-journals, 61 online journals, and 213 print journals. Additionally, the JNU library has access to the South Asia Archive and Times of India Archive.
JNU Hostel Accommodations
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) provides affordable hostel accommodations for its students. A total of 18 hostels are present for students to choose from JNU list of hostels. Each hostel has its own Provosts, Wardens, Committees, and Assistant Registrars. Each of the hostels has about 2-5 numbers of wardens to look after the students. There are a total of 3,831 beds and 3,005 beds in Boys Hostel and Girls Hostel, respectively. There is also a Co-Ed hostel present within the campus with a total accommodation of 86 students. All of the hostels are present within the JNU Campus.
Other Facilities of JNU
- Sports Complex - The JNU sports complex has several courts and tracks for students to practice various sports and athletics. Some of the courts and tracks present within the campus are Badminton Court, Basketball Court, Cricket Ground, Football Ground, Tennis Court, Weightlifting, Mountaineering, Trekking, and Athletics Court.
- Laboratories - There are numerous laboratories present for each school of studies and departments. Some of the laboratories in JNU are Computer Lab, Language Lab, Linux Lab, Oracle Lab, Microprocessor Lab and many others.
Some other facilities of JNU include Cafeteria, Gym, Hospital, Wi-Fi Campus, Auditorium, Convenience Store, Bank & ATM, Guest Houses, Human Resources Development Center, Conference and Seminar Hall.
