KCG College of Technology in Chennai was established in 1998. It is associated with Anna University. It offers BE/B.Tech at the undergraduate level and M.E at the graduate level. The college also provides Ph.D. programs in a variety of specialisations. Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) is a counselling process run by Anna University to give admission to BE/B.Tech programmes. Candidates who have completed 10+2 in Tamil Nadu are eligible for TNEA counselling. To be admitted to the M.E program, students must first pass the TANCET and then go through central counselling.
