They can also assist in revitalizing the abilities of language teachers by possessing current knowledge of their local language and culture. Among the duties performed by language teaching assistants are the following: · Introducing fundamental language skills and enhancing language proficiency, with an emphasis on oral abilities, in their own small groups. · Aiding students in getting ready for listening comprehension tests and oral exams. · Participating in cross-curricular initiatives in conjunction with other subject areas, such as interesting and pertinent language-based assignments. · creating culturally themed lesson plans and extracurricular activities (like lunch clubs) that are appropriate for specific age groups. · Aiding in the establishment and/or growth of global initiatives. · Creating any activity that uses English as a communication medium. For instance, cultural seminars, dance, sports, etc.
Can I still apply if I don't speak Spanish?
You can apply, yes. It is not necessary to speak the language. You can also take Spanish classes at most schools.
If I decide I don't want to be a teacher in the future, will teaching English abroad help my career?

No, there won't be any costs for chosen applicants to take part in the program. They will have to pay for their visa and travel, though.
What are the prerequisites for applying to the program, the stipend offered, the length of stay, the application deadlines, etc.?
Any student who has advanced English language proficiency equal to a C1 in the European language framework is eligible to apply. Applications are invited from students in any academic discipline. We are looking for motivated individuals that love teaching, have a strong interest in education, and are able to adjust to a new culture. The features of each promotion will vary.
