Candidates willing to take admission need to visit the official website . The admission kit includes a datasheet, admission form, and college brochure.
- Online admission to U.G. Courses are conducted as per the directives of the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal and the University of Calcutta.
- All admission-related information will be available at the designated website.
- Students are admitted strictly on the basis of merit. Students from ISC, CBSE, WBCHSE and different Boards of other states are eligible for admission to this College.
- Overseas students may also apply.
- The lists of selected candidates are posted on the designated website.
- There is no provision for admission to pure General Courses.
- The College follows government statutes regarding admission of candidates belonging to reserved categories. Vide Govt. Order No. DRSCT / 165 / 2000 / 6(A), 22% and 6% (=28%) of total seats are reserved for S.C. and S.T. candidates respectively in each subject (Honors) Streams / Courses. It may be noted that the same rule follows for P.G. Courses.
- The candidates included in the general merit list should not be counted towards reserved seats.
- Every S.C. / S.T. a candidate should get an application form for admission if they obtained minimum qualifying marks for admission i.e. having 40% marks in aggregate or 40% marks in a concerned subject in H.S. or equivalent examination for Honors Courses.
- An S.C. or S.T. a candidate getting admission should have in the previous examination qualifying marks which are not lower by more than 25% from the marks obtained by the last candidate of the General Category.
- S.C. / S.T. candidates from outside West Bengal will not be entitled to the benefits stated above.

- Original transcript of the most recent university or board exam passed, together with an official photo
- Character certificate that has been properly endorsed by the institution's head at the last visit.
- Detailed grades, certificates of discharge and migration in the event that a student is transferring from another Indian board or university.
- Registration at the university (for former students only)
- Certificates of recognition from the head of the institution last attended for outstanding achievement in extracurricular activities and games.
- Aadhar card of the candidates
- College leaving certification or transfer certificate.
- Birth certificate of the candidate
- Domicile certification of the candidates or parent, whichever is applicable
