Autonomous status for degree programs and postgraduate programs was awarded to Loyola Academy in 1992 and 2010, respectively. In 2008, Loyola Academy received the title of A College with Potential for Excellence (CPE) from UGC in recognition of its accomplishments and exemplary pursuit of higher education requirements.

Furthermore, the college was re-accredited in 2011 with a A rating (3.50 out of 4.00 CGPA) after being recognized by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 2005. For the consecutive years 2017-18 and 2018-19, our college was ranked between 100 and 150 by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF).
