Madhav Institute of Technology and Science, or MITS Gwalior, is one of the oldest and most prestigious engineering colleges in Madhya Pradesh. It was established in 1957 and situated in Gwalior City. It has around 47 acres of land approved by the National Board of Accreditation. The institute is affiliated with R.G.P.V., Bhopal, though it received academic autonomy back in 2002.
