Madhav Institute of Technology and Science, or MITS Gwalior, is one of the oldest and most prestigious engineering colleges in Madhya Pradesh. It was established in 1957 and situated in Gwalior City. It has around 47 acres of land approved by the National Board of Accreditation. The institute is affiliated with R.G.P.V., Bhopal, though it received academic autonomy back in 2002. The institute was accredited with an A++ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a CGPA of 3.53, and UGC, New Delhi provided it with autonomy.

1. Merit cum Means Scholarship:

Under this scholarship, the students of MITS get a full fee waiver besides a pocket allowance of Rs 1000 during the course duration. This Merit cum Means Scholarship is entitled to the students who stand with a CGPA of more than 6.5. The students have to send a parental income certificate, in order to avail of the Scholarship. 1. Inspire Scholarship :

Under this scholarship, a student gets an annual scholarship of INR 30,000 per semester. Along with that, for MS students, there is an additional research grant of INR 20,000 available.
