5. | Madras Oriental Conference Scholarship | This Scholarship is awarded to an UG First Year Student from any of the affiliated Colleges of Madras University based on HSE or equivalent followed by passing in Tamil Nadu by securing highest marks in Language-Sanskrit in first attempt. | INR 1,000 /- |

7. | All India Bengali Literary Conference (Madras University) 1955-56 Scholarship | This scholarship is awarded to an UG 1st Year Student from any of the affiliated colleges of MU based on HSE or equivalent thereto passed in Tamil Nadu by securing highest marks in Language-Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Bengali in first attempt. | INR 3,000 /- |
8. | The Maneckshaw Jamshedji Chanji Mistry Scholarship | This scholarship is awarded to a first year student from M.A. Branch I-History Degree Course in the affiliated college of the Madras University.This scholarship is awarded based on the highest marks secured in BA Branch I-History Degree Course Exam in the first attempt under the affiliated colleges of MU.The same student can continue getting the scholarship amount in 2nd year if they manage to pass the 1st year examination in the first attempt. | INR 4,000 /- |
