National Post Graduate College based in Lucknow, established in the year of 1974 by (Late) Chandra Bhanu Gupta, a renowned social worker and a popular leader, is known as a premier institute for Arts, Science and commerce.it gained autonomous status by the government.it is affiliated to Lucknow University.

The eligibility Criteria will differ for various programs. Under the UG program, for related disciplines like BA,BBA,BCA,BSc,BCom,BCom(Hons.)BVoc, it requires candidates with a minimum of 45% aggregate for general (40% for reservation candidates) in a 10+2 equivalent exam subject recognized by related boards with a relevant subject and a valid LUACMAT/LUACCET score. For PG, it requires graduated candidates with a minimum of 50% aggregate for general (45% for reservation candidates) in relevant discipline.
