The Training and Placement Cell of Nitte School of Fashion Technology and Interior Design (NSFTID) maintains good relationships with industry giants and leading companies such as Amazon, Myntra, Sattva Groups, Lifestyle, Ajio, Pantaloons, Jaquar, Prestige, and many more. Students are trained to master their soft skills, technical, aptitude, verbal skills, etc. The prime responsibility of the Training and Placement Cell is to invite recruiting companies for Pre-Placement Talks followed by final placements.

The Cell looks after students' overall development including improving employability skills and facilitating training sessions both internally and externally. The training sessions are carried out differently semester-wise.

Pre/Post Training Activities at NITTE School of Fashion Technology and Interior Design

  1. The Cell consolidates the academic performance of the students.

  1. The Training and Placement Cell will invite companies and employers for campus recruitment.
  2. The TPC would then send the resumes and profiles of registered students to the respective Companies as per the Students' interests.
  3. Next, the company or employer will confirm a date or discuss it with the Coordinator of TPC to confirm a date.
  4. After date confirmation, the participating company or recruiters conduct a Pre-Placement Talk, Group Discussions, and Personal Interview for shortlisted candidates.
  5. At last, final shortlisted students will be invited for an interview round for final selection.
  6. The companies will announce the final results of selected students for successful placement in their company soon after the interview round.
