PRSU

Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University, popularly known as PRSU is a state university founded in 1964. With 29 departments and 156 affiliated colleges, PRSU offers UG, PG, PG Diploma, Diploma, Doctoral, and Post Doctoral programs. Admissions at PRSU for all courses are based on scores obtained in the entrance examination conducted by the university. The university accepts national-level test (CMAT) scores for admission to the MBA program. 

PRSU admission process involves filling of application form (online/ofline), appearing for the entrance examination, and then the university releases the merit list or cutoff for selected candidates. To confirm the admission, selected candidates must submit the required documents and pay the admission fee. 

Application forms for admission at PRSU are usually released in June or July every year. Aspiring candidates can collect the application form from the university campus or apply online on the official website at prsu.ac.in.

PRSU UG Admission

PRSU offers varipus full-time general and professional courses in the fields of Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, Pharmacy, etc. BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, and BCA courses are offered thrpough affiliated colleges of PRSU. BALLB, B.Pharm, B.Voc, B.P.Ed, B.Lib.Sc, and B.Ed are offered through University-Teaching-Departments. 

PRSU PG Admission 

PRSU offers various 2-year and 1-year full-time courses in the fields of Arts, Science, Management, Pharmacy, Engineering, Law, Education, Etc. PG programs offered at PRSU are MA, M.Sc, MCA, MBA, M.Ed, LLM, M.Pharm, MSW, M.Tech, M.P.Ed, and M.Lib.Sc. Apart from regular postgraduate courses, PRSU also offers one-year PG diploma in streams like Guidance and Counselling, Forensic Science, Applied Hydrogeology, Rehabilitation Psychology, Regional planning & development, etc. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to PRSU regular and diploma PG courses is to pass a bachelor's degree from a recognised university. Admissions to all PG courses are based on scores obtained in the entrance examination. 

PRSU Ph.D Admission 2024

PRSU offers full-time PhD program at the Doctoral level for a duration of 3 to 5 years. PhD propgram at PRSU is offered in 31 specializations such as Economics, Psychology, History, Physics, English, Hindi, Geography, Sociology, Law, and many more. The basic eligibility for admission to doctoral level courses is to have a postgraduate degree from a recognised board/university. 

PRSU Diploma/Certificate Admissions 2024

Along with regular programmes, PRSU offers one-year diploma and 3-6 months long certificate courses that have a total seat intake of 30. PRSU Diploma programmes are offered in streams like English, French, German, and Russian, whereas certificate courses are offered in the fields of Translation, Watershed Technology, Women Law & Gender Justice, etc. 

PRSU Application Process

Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University accepts applications in online mode. Candidates who are willing to apply for any course at PRSU must download the application form from the official website of the university. Aspirants must follow the steps mentioned below to apply for PRSU admissions:

1. Step 01: Visit the official website of the university, @prsu.ac.in
2. Step 02: Click on the 'Examination' tab and then select 'Online Admission' from the drop-down list.
3. Step 03: Click on the 'Admission' button and then on Application Form 
4. Step 04: Fill up the application form will all the required information
5. Step 05: Attach all the necessary documents 
6. Step 06: Pay the application fee via Debit/Credit card or Netbanking
7. Step 07: Submit the form.
