Rajalakshmi Engineering College, an autonomous institution affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, was established in 1997. In addition to other specializations, Rajalakshmi Engineering College (REC) provides BTech, BE, ME, and MTech programmes in avionics, communication systems, chemical engineering, and bio-medical engineering. The institute also provides a postgraduate two-year MBA program.
