2010 the Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences was founded in Bikaner. The UGC-recognized Veterinary College offers undergraduate, graduate, doctorate, and diploma programs.

At UG level, RAJUVAS Bikaner offers B.V.Sc. & A.H. with a total of 360 seats.

At the PG level, the university offers M.V.Sc. and M.Sc. At the research level, a Ph.D. is offered in 12 disciplines. The University also offers a multi-skilled development program course and a two-year diploma course in Animal Husbandry through 75 Institutes.

Applicants who have passed the 10+2/ HSC/Intermediate exam with 50% . Admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. is done based on valid scores in the RPVT Competitive exam conducted by the university.

Admission to M.V.Sc. and M.Sc. is done based on merit in the Pre PG Entrance Exam conducted by the university. Admission to the Ph.D. is made through the marks scored on the Ph.D. test conducted by the university.

The Rajasthan University offers B.V.Sc. & A.H. at UG level with a total of 360 seats. The course also consists of a six-month internship, and the total duration of a full-time course is 5 ½ years.

Note- 15 seats in B.V.Sc. & A.H. are reserved for ICAR candidates. For general candidates, the minimum and maximum age for qualifying is 17 and 28 years, respectively. There is 5 year relaxation in age for boys (SC/ST/OBC/SBC), girls from the general category, and 10 years for girls belonging to SC/ST/OBC/SBC.
