Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV) offers admission to the UG, PG, Diploma/Polytechnic, and Research level across 400+ RGPV affiliated colleges and institutions. The most popular program at RGPV is the 4-year full-time B.E/B. Tech program where admissions are granted as per JEE Main entrance scores followed by the MP state Counselling. The counseling process for BE admission is conducted by the university and the Department of Technical Education (DTE), Government of India. Other popular courses offered by RGPV are B. Arch, B.Pharm, MBA, MCA, M.Pharm, M.E, and dual degrees, etc. Admission to these programs is based on both national-level entrance scores and merit lists. RGPV Bhopal also offers Diploma courses in the fields of Engineering and Pharmacy. RGPV Diploma admissions are based on the MP-PPT (Pre-Polytechnic Test) scores followed by a counseling session.

Admissions to the Ph.D. program at RGPV are granted based on UGC/ CSIR/ DST/ GATE/ GPAT scores followed by the written test and personal interview conducted by the university. RGPV has also introduced several UG and PG programs in online mode across the specializations of Management, Forensic Science, Fashion, Engineering, Space Sciences, Social Work, Nanotechnology, Communication, and Pharmacy. RGPV B.E & B.Arch Admission 2024

RGPV Bhopal offers a Bachelor in Engineering (BE) and a B.Arch program under its UG Program. It offers BE in 6 specializations. The program is offered in full-time, regular mode. RGPV also offers a 5-year integrated Dual Degree program through BE as the base earning degree. The BE program of RGPV is offered via its University Institute of Technology (UIT), Bhopal, and School of Information Technology (SIT), Bhopal.

Candidates can opt MBA or ME/ M.Tech as the second degree while filling the choices during counseling.

RGPV B.E & B.Arch Eligibility

Candidates with valid JEE Mains scorecards are eligible for BE and Dual Degree programs at RGPV. They must have completed 10+2 level with Mathematics and Physics subjects with a minimum score of 45% (40% for the reserved category)

Candidates with valid NATA/ JEE Mains paper 2 scores are eligible for the B.Arch program. They must have scored 50% marks in the 10+2/ 10+3 level. Diploma candidates must have had Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

Whereas the students who have completed HSC/ 10+2 level of education must have had Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as the compulsory subjects.

RGPV B.E & B.Arch Selection Criteria

1. Selection for the BE & B.Arch program will be done based on JEE Main scores and NATA/ JEE Main paper 2. Candidates will have to register for the counseling at the official website of DTE Madhya Pradesh.
2. Candidates will have to enter the personal, academic, and other relevant details, and upload the necessary scanned documents required for the entire counseling procedure.
3. If the documents cannot be uploaded, candidates will be intimated with reporting to the nodal center regarding the verification of documents. They need to pay the counseling fee after the verification.
4. Candidates will have to fill in the choices in the decreasing order of preference and lock them. A minimum of 10 choices are to be filled which must include specializations from RGPV.
5. Once the options are locked by the candidate, they cannot change the options. Various rounds of counseling shall be conducted and allotment of seats will be done based on test scores. The following table gives the idea of cutting off of last year;

RGPV B.Pharm Admission 2024

RGPV Bhopal offers Bachelor in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) under its UG Program. The program is offered in full-time, regular mode for three years.

RGPV B.Pharm Eligibility Criteria

Candidates looking for admission into the B.Pharm program must have completed 10+2 levels of education or D.Pharm. They must have scored a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for the reserved categories) in total.

They must have Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics or Biology.

RGPV B.Pharm Selection Criteria

1. Selection for BPharm program will be done based on merit. Candidates will have to register for DTE counseling conducted by the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
2. During registration, they have to upload the necessary scanned documents, and fill in the academic and personal details. If the documents cannot be uploaded, candidates will be intimated with reporting to the nodal center regarding the verification of documents.
3. At the nodal center, candidates can show the original documents and get them verified by the verification officers.

RGPV ME/ M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Candidates aspiring for the program must have completed their BE/ B.Tech Degree in a relevant discipline. They must have a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for the reserved categories) during their graduation.

Also, admission will be done purely based on the merit of the GATE score. Hence the candidate is expected to have a valid GATE score as well.

RGPV ME/ M.Tech Selection Criteria

1. Selection will be based on the submitted GATE scores of the candidates. They will have to register for DTE counseling conducted by the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
2. Register at the official website of DTE MP by entering the personal and academic details, and uploading the photograph, signature, and other relevant documents.
3. If the candidate cannot upload the documents, they can visit the nearby nodal center for verification, as mentioned in the login ID. Candidates must take their original documents for verification with a set of photocopies.

RGPV M.Pharm Eligibility Criteria

Basic Eligibility for the program is the completion of a B.Pharm degree with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks (50% marks for reserved categories). Candidates must also have a valid GPAT scorecard to participate in the counseling process.

RGPV M.Pharm Selection Criteria

1. M.Pharm Selection will be done purely based on the GPAT scores of the candidates. Candidates need to participate in the DTE Counselling held by Govt. of Madhya Pradesh.

RGPV Diploma Eligibility Criteria

RGPV candidates looking for admission in any of these courses must have passed matriculation.

For a Diploma in Pharmacy, candidates must have scored a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for the reserved categories) in total. They must have Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics or Biology.

For Diploma in Engineering, candidates must have a minimum of 35% marks in their 10+2 level, from any recognised Board. They must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the subjects during the 10+2 level.

Candidates applying for both of the programs must have a valid MP-PPT (Pre-Polytechnic Test) score to use during the counseling session.

RGPV Diploma Selection Criteria

1. Selection for the Diploma program will be done based on submitted PPT scores. Candidates will have to register for the counseling at the official website of DTE Madhya Pradesh.
2. They have to upload the necessary scanned documents required for the entire counseling procedure. Failing to which their candidature shall be considered canceled.
3. If the documents cannot be uploaded, candidates will be intimated with reporting to the nodal center regarding the verification of documents.

RGPV Ph.D Admission 2024

RGPV also offers PhD. in 20 specializations in full-time, and part-time mode. For a list of specializations offered for PhD program,

Candidates must have a Master’s degree with at least 60% marks from a recognized or deemed University. For candidates belonging to the reserved categories, minimum aggregate marks are relaxed by 5%.

Candidates shall be allowed to work for PhD degree provided they must have completed their Master's or Bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline of Engineering/Technology/Applied Sciences

Speaking about the scorecard acceptance, preference shall be given to the candidates who have qualified for the UGC/ CSIR/ DST/ National/ State Level Fellowship or GATE/ GPAT/ SLET/ Teacher fellowship.

Candidates must go through an online entrance test to be shortlisted for the interview round for the Ph.D program. A minimum of 40% marks is to be scored in the online entrance test to qualify for the interview round.

Final selection will consider the performance of the written test, interview, and aggregate scored in the qualifying PG Examination. The weightage for each parameter is allocated as follows:
