• 15% and 7.5% seats in all programs are reserved respectively for candidates belonging to Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe by birth (not by marriage or adoption).
• Out of the total seats 3% are kept reserved for PH candidates for admission to programs like engineering & technology/ Medical/ Dental/ MBA / MCA/ HMCT/ Pharmacy/ Nursing/ Law/ Biotechnology/ Agriculture courses and the candidates are eligible to be considered under Physically Handicapped Category for admission to these courses.
• All the programs but the MBBS and BDS courses reserve 30% of the seats in each category.
• There are no reservation norms applicable for admissions through the lateral entry.

The SOA University provides PhD courses to part-time & full-time scholars. The various departments of Engineering, Sciences, Humanities and Social sciences welcome candidates for its Ph.D. program. INR 55,000 is the annual tuition fee for both part-time and full-time scholars. The university charges INR 20,000 as Thesis Examination Fee that is to be submitted at the time of Thesis submission.
