Admission
Candidates seeking admission to this institute must participate in one of the recognized entrance tests. The following are the admission processes for all the courses offered in TISL Kolkata.
To participate in the counseling procedure for admission to B.Tech courses, a candidate must have completed the 10+2 examination and obtained a valid score in WBJEE or JEE Main. Candidates will be assigned seats depending on their performance in the admission exams. WBJEE candidates will fill 80% of the seats, JEE Mains participants will fill 10%, and the remaining seats will be filled by management quota. Candidates with a diploma in engineering can also apply for lateral admission in their second year through the JELET test.
To be admitted to M.tech programs, a candidate must hold a B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree in the appropriate subject and a valid score in the WBUT PGET/GATE test.
