Admission to undergraduate, graduate, certificate, and doctoral programs is available at the University of Rajasthan. There are various specializations available in a single course at UNIRAJ. Other than UG, PG, and PhD programs, UNIRAJ also offers certificate courses. The eligibility varies with the program chosen. Admissions to undergraduate programs are offered through merit and for postgraduate programs, an entrance test is conducted. University of Rajasthan Undergraduate Admissions
The University of Rajasthan offers admissions to various undergraduate programs such as BA, B.SC, LL.B, etc. Each UG course has a different eligibility criteria. Admissions to UG programs are offered using the merit list. One has to score a minimum mark in the 12th exam so that they can be eligible for admission at UG programs in UNIRAJ. University of Rajasthan Postgraduate Admissions
For PG admissions at the University of Rajasthan, the entrance test is conducted and merit is generated based on the score one has got on the entrance test and previous academic performance. To be eligible for PG admissions at UNIRAJ, one must have completed their UG degree. The PG Diploma is also offered at the University of Rajasthan. For that also, the procedure is the same for other PG admissions. 30% of the weightage is assigned to prior academic performance, while 70% is assigned to the entrance exam. University of Rajasthan PhD Admissions
At the University of Rajasthan, the PhD admissions are offered by checking the master’s degree, score in the entrance test that UNIRAJ conducts, and the interview process. One must have secured a certain percentage in the master’s course to be eligible for PhD admissions at UNIRAJ. University of Rajasthan Admissions Application Process
The steps to fill out the application process at the University of Rajasthan are mentioned below.
- Complete the registration procedure from the UNIRAJ website.
- As soon as you complete the registrations, you need to log in and complete the application form process.
- Choose whatever affiliation form you wish to fill out.
- Save all of the filled-in details.
- Upload the necessary documents in PDF format with not more than 300KB in size.
- Clicking the Pay button on the Summary page will direct you to the ICICI Bank Payment Gateway Page.
- On the ICICI Bank website, you have the choice to pay using NET Banking, or any other means.
Once you pay the required fees and click on the submit button, your application form is completed. Now, the authorities present in the admission cell will review your application form and if found that you meet the eligibility requirements, then you have to attend the counseling and verification process.
PhD Admissions
Entrance exam for PhD or M.Phil programs is conducted by the University of Rajasthan (UNIRAJ MPAT). Those who have appeared in such entrance tests conducted at the national level or university level are exempted from appearing in the entrance test conducted by UNIRAJ. Examples of such exams are, GATE, UGC-NET/JRF, etc exams. The entrance test consists of 100 objective-type questions, and one mark is assigned to each question. After the entrance test, interviews of selected students are conducted at the university.
