UID Ahmedabad admits students to B.Des (Hons), BFA, and B.Sc. programs at the undergraduate level, as well as M.Des programs at the graduate level, in fields such as Visual Communication, Animation & Digital Media, Interior & Furniture Design, Product Design, Fashion Design, and others. It also provides Ph.D. in Design. Admission to UID Ahmedabad UG and PG Courses occurs through the UID's Two-Tier Evaluation Process. The Tier 1 -UID DAT (Design Aptitude Test) is scheduled in online mode. The Tier 2 - Situation Test (ST) and Portfolio Evaluation (PE) at UID Campus are based on the preferences specified in the Application 2024-25. UID Ahmedabad also offers a B.Des (Hons.) Global Design Program (GDP) in collaboration with various international universities. Students will get the opportunity to study abroad for a total of three semesters under this GDP. The institute accepts both online and offline applications.

UID Ahmedabad's admission procedure is separated into four parts that can be completed online or offline. How Do I Apply for UID Ahmedabad Admission 2025? 

 

Phase 1: Registration and Submission of Application

Register yourself by entering basic information such as your name, email address, phone number, campus, course, and specialisation.

Once registered, sign in with your email address and password and complete the application form.

Pay the registration cost and submit the form.

Note: The registration price for Indian students is INR 2,000, whereas NRI or foreign students pay INR 3,000. 

 

Phase 2: UID Entrance Exam (UID DAT).

 

Admission to UID courses is accomplished through the Design Aptitude Test (DAT).

The UID Entrance Exam covers questions about general IQ, logic, and other topics.

Phase 3: Situation Test (ST) and Portfolio Evaluation (PT).

 

After passing the UID DAT, students must take the Situation Test and the Portfolio Evaluation.
