Purvanchal University, or Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University as it is also called, started a specific Training & Placement Cell which is solely devoted to assisting students in their job search. The cell holds job fairs and provides placement training to students in order to prepare them for the job market.
Students have to first register by filling a form, attaching a photograph, and these must be submitted to the placement office in order to use these services. After registration, students will get the chance to take part in job fairs that are organized by the cell. Although the official placement statistics have not been released yet, the NIRF 2024 report gives a general idea about the average salaries for different programs.
As per this report, the median salary of BTech graduates is INR 3.3 LPA, MBA graduates is INR 7 LPA, and for MBA graduates is INR 7 LPA, and for B.Pharm graduates is INR 2.8 LPA.
VBSPU Placement Statistics
As for the 3-year undergraduate course, none of the graduates out of 385 were placed in a job, thus the median package data is not applicable. A four-year undergraduate program had a total of 348 graduates of which 83 were placed with a median package of INR 3.3 LPA. In the 2-year of PG program, 20 out of 363 graduates were placed, with a median package of INR 2.4 LPA.
