Established in 1995 with approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and the Government of (then) Andhra Pradesh, the Vallurupalli Nageswara Rao Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology (VNRVJIET) is supported by Vignana Jyothi. The Institute is recognized by Sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956, and is autonomous under the UGC. It is affiliated with JNTU-Hyderabad. The Institute has an A++ grade from NAAC, a Diamond rating from QS I-GAUGE, and ISO 9001:2015 certification.
