To gain admission, candidates need to match the cutoff criteria of their preferred institute. The ATMA exam has 180 questions and the total marks are 180. But, the raw scores are then scaled and the final marks are awarded out of 800. Knowing what is a good score in ATMA exam is subjective, however, the current trends suggest that the following will be considered a good score: Very good score- More than 700 Good score- 650-700 Average score- 620- 650 Low score- Below 550 Based on the scores obtained in the ATMA exam, the percentile of the candidates will be calculated.
If you have a good study plan, you can study independently at home for the ATMA exam. This exam is conducted around four times a year and is relatively easier than other exams. The following is advice from professionals on how to create an ATMA plan: 1. Using the ATMA syllabus as a guide, make a list of the subjects that the study materials must cover. 2. Plan your study time on a monthly, weekly, and daily basis according to the time available. 3. Analyze previous ATMA tests to note important topics. 4. You can find a mentor to assist you or join any online study group. 5. To enable thorough planning, assign a time limit to each section. 6. Start reading newspaper and magazine editorials to gain a command of the verbal skill section. 7. For the quantitative section, read the basic concepts and formulas from school textbooks. 8. Examine your progress through mock tests on a monthly basis. 9. Keep analyzing and improving your score over time until test day. 10. Set your score to meet the cutoff for the college to which you want to apply
The ATMA exam is conducted for three hours or 180 minutes. The exam will be conducted in the computer-based test mode. There are six sections in the ATMA question paper, I. e. two sections on Analytical Ability, two sections on Verbal Ability and two sections on Quantitative Aptitude. Each section is to be solved within 30 minutes. Since ATMA is a centre-based online exam the test screen will move from first section to the next section automatically as soon as the time limit gets over. Thus candidates have to be mindful of the on-screen timer and pre-decide the number of questions to solve in each section. It is not mandatory to solve all the questions in the ATMA exam so candidates can devise a strategy to use 30 minutes per section as per their strength and weakness.
ATMA has a total of 180 questions. Each section carries 30 marks. For each correct attempt, one mark is awarded and 0.25 marks are deducted for incorrect attempts. There is no deduction of marks for unanswered questions. Therefore, the total marks of ATMA is 180. Each section in the ATMA question paper carries an equal number of questions and marks. Sectional marking scheme for ATMA is given below: 1. Verbal Ability: 30 2. Analytical Reasoning: 30 3. Quantitative Ability: 30 Since ATMA has a negative marking scheme, candidates must choose the questions to solve very carefully and smartly. If they are not sure of the correct answer, they should leave the question instead of taking a chance.
Students must prepare for the ATMA 2025 for at least three months. Applicants who are taking other management tests will find it simpler to prepare for ATMA; nevertheless, each student must pay for at least three months of study time.
The validity of ATMA score is one year and students will be offered admission to colleges accepting ATMA scores through their ATMA result. Each institute releases their individual cutoffs. To gain admission, candidates need to match the cutoff criteria of their preferred institute.
Yes, the ATMA exam has negative markings. Each question in the ATMA exam carries one mark. And for every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks are deducted. This means that if the candidate has four incorrect answers, then one mark will be deducted from the ATMA overall score.
