Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is an entrance exam that is administered by the Indian Air Force. The purpose of this exam is that the Indian Air Force invites Indian citizens (men and women) to be part of this elite force as Group ‘A’ Gazetted officers in flying and ground duty (technical and non-technical) branches.
AFCAT 2025
Candidates should have met the eligibility criteria before applying for the examination. To take admission, candidates should have appeared in all the stages of the examination, viz. written examination and SSB test, which will be purely provisional, subject to their satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.

AFCAT 2025 Application Process
Desirous candidates have to apply for AFCAT online. The candidates are required to apply only as per the procedure mentioned in details below.
How to apply
The candidates can submit their application form only once. To fill out the application form, candidates should have followed the below-mentioned steps:
- Visit the official website.
- Go through the ‘Candidate login’ on the homepage.
- Sign up: Creation of Log-In ID and applicant will receive a password in their registered email ID.
- Click on “Fill Application form” with the required information including, personal details, qualification details, course preference, communication details and click on “Save and Continue”.
- Upload the recent photo, signature & thumb impression ( the size of each jpg/jpeg file to be between 10kb and 50kb).
- Candidates are required to pay the application fee after filling out the application form.
- The examination fee of Rs. 550/- +GST (non-refundable) for AFCAT entry paid to be online only.
Widow for application form correction
- After the closing date for receipt of online applications, the commission will provide a period of 2 days to enable candidates to correct or modify online application parameters, wherein candidates will be allowed to re-submit applications.
AFCAT 2025 Eligibility
Candidates can check the course-wise eligibility criteria for 2025:
Candidates should be aware that they can only appear in the AFCAT 2025 entrance exam if they meet the requirements for eligibility. Candidates should carefully review the qualifying requirements before completing the application.
- Candidates must be citizens of India as per Indian citizenship.
- For Flying Branch through AFCAT and NCC special entry: candidates should be 20 to 24 years old as of January , 2025, i.e., born between January 2, 2001, and January 1, 2005.
- Candidates should have been unmarried at the time of commencement of the course, and marriage is not permitted during the training period.
- Candidates should have passed 10+2 post-graduation with 50% marks in any discipline, including the integrated course offering PG with 605 marks in the graduation.

AFCAT 2025 Admit Card
Candidates should have downloaded the hall ticket from the official website. To download the admit card, candidates should have to enter their registered email ID and password that was generated during the registration process.
Candidates have to carry a print copy of the hall ticket along with two passport-size recent colour photographs at the exam centre on the day of the exam.
