AMITY JEE was recently scrapped and named the AMITY University BTech entrance test. The exam is expected to be conducted in the second week of May 2025. Eligible candidates can register and complete the application process for the examination till the second week of April 2025. It will be a university-level undergraduate test and will be administered in an online mode.
AMITY JEE 2025
The registration process for AMITY JEE 2025 exam is online and is done at the portal of the University, i.e., portal.amity.edu/NewOnlineForm/Candidate/SignUp. All the students will be required to meet the course-specific eligibility criteria before filling out the form. Aspirants must fill in their name, email ID, mobile number and other personal details. Once done with the registration process, candidates will receive a password, which along with the contact number, must be provided for logging in and filling out the rest of the application form.
AMITY JEE 2025 entrance examination will be administered in an online mode. Students will be asked a total of 90 MCQs across four sections, carrying +4 marks for correct attempts. However, there will be a -1 mark deduction per incorrect attempt. Candidates will be allotted a total of 120 minutes (2 hours) time duration for completion of AMITY University BTech entrance test. The syllabus will cover subjects such as physics, chemistry, mathematics/biology, and general English. The overall difficulty level of the exam will be similar to that of JEE Mains entrance exam.
AMITY JEE 2025 results are expected to be declared by the fourth week of May 2025. Candidates can check and download the results from the official website, i.e., amity.edu. The credentials required for downloading the scorecards are the application number, login password, and date of birth. The expected cut off percentile for the General category candidates can be within 90-95, and for the reserved categories, the same can be within the 46-60 percentile.
What is AMITY JEE 2025 Entrance Examination?
The AMITY JEE exam has been discontinued and is now called the AMITY University entrance exam. Admission to several BTech programs at AMITY University in Bangalore is determined by the exam results. Undergraduate exams are administered by Pearson VUE on behalf of the university. All Indian as well as NRI/ PCO candidates are also eligible to apply for the examination.

AMITY JEE 2025 Application Process
AMITY JEE 2025 registration process is available both online and offline. The online version can be completed at portal.amity.edu/NewOnlineForm. Students must register or sign up using their email address, phone number, and full name. Students must then complete the application form, which includes their exam centers, course selection, and all of their academic, residential, and personal information. The non-refundable AMITY JEE 2025 application fee is INR 1500, which can be paid online using a credit or debit card or through net banking.
AMITY JEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Both Indian nationals and foreign nationalities, including Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) and PCO, are eligible to take the AMITY JEE 2025 exam. AMITY University has imposed a minimum age of sixteen. Similarly, 23 is the upper or maximum age restriction. Candidates must pass class 10+2 with physics, chemistry, and mathematics/biology subject combinations in order to be admitted to BTech programs. The sponsored category has a 5% exemption from the 10+2 standard's minimum qualifying percentile of 60%. In other BTech fields, such as computer science and engineering and aeronautical engineering, for example, the non-sponsored group needs to have scored 70%, while the sponsored group needs to have scored 65%.
AMITY JEE 2025 Syllabus
AMITY JEE 2025 syllabus will not change from the previous year. The AMITY University BTech admission exam is the new name for the exam. The subjects of physics, chemistry, mathematics/biology, and general English must be covered by candidates. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) are the two options available to applicants for the BTech entrance exam. Nonetheless, both situations need the use of General English. With the exception of General English, which has 15 questions, each topic will have a total of 25 questions. AMITY University BTech admission exam now replaces the AMITY JEE exam. The format of the AMITY JEE 2025 exam will not change from the previous year. The format of the test is somewhat reminiscent of various engineering admission exams at the state level. Nonetheless, AMITY University administers the test online at the undergraduate level. There will be 90 questions in all, and each one will be worth +4 points. Hence the total marks make 360. No marks are taken away for questions that are not attempted.
