The CAT 2025 Notification will be issued in June or July 2025. Students can register starting in August 2025 to take the management exam. Eligible students can apply for admission to any non-IIMs listed on the website.

Common Common Aptitude Test (CAT) 2025

IIM CAT 2025 will take place in three sessions or slots. Applicants may choose to take the exam in computer-based testing (CBT) style. Aspiring candidates seeking admission to diverse Management publications can submit programs for the CAT 2025 Entrance Exam. The Common Admission Test, usually referred to as CAT, is a comprehensive MBA front examination. Its purpose is to facilitate the admission of deserving applicants into prestigious Business Schools nationwide, including the IIMs. Furthermore, eligible candidates may also receive stable admission to Management Schools at diverse institutions along with IITs, FMS, NITIE, MDI, SP Jain, and others, contingent upon their overall performance in the CAT 2025 front examination. CAT 2025 Application Process

Candidates can find details about the CAT Registration Form 2025 below:

  1. The registration process for CAT 2025 will begin a few days after the announcement in July or August.
  2. Applicants must apply online using the website link. No other methods are accepted.
  3. The deadline for submitting applications is in the second or third week of September 2025.
  4. Candidates need a working, unique email address and a mobile number for correspondence.
  5. Upon registration, candidates will receive a unique ID and password to complete the application.
  6. Candidates can complete the application over several sessions if needed.
  7. After successful payment of fees, no further changes can be made.
  8. Students must ensure all information on the form is accurate. Forms with fraudulent information will be rejected immediately.
  9. SC, ST, or PWD candidates must upload their eligibility certificates during registration. Category changes are not accepted after registration.
  10. Students can correct minor errors during the correction window after registration.

CAT 2025 Application Form

  1. Choose 'Access Application Form'.
  2. Complete the application form by providing the statistics, which includes private information, academic records, paintings enjoyment, and favored programs.
  3. The aspirant's call and date of beginning will automatically appear based on the details entered at some point of registration.
  4. Next, enter the call and gender of the father, husband, or guardian.
  5. Select the category and nationality.
  6. Provide postal address and change email ID if relevant.
  7. Upload scanned photographs of the photograph and signature.
  8. Enter educational details, such as overall marks for 10th, 12th/diploma, ongoing or completed bachelor's degree, master's degree, or any other professional qualifications.
  9. Include information on any work experience you may have.
  10. Choose the program name (any type) and select up to 4 preferred exam center cities. Facilities will be assigned based on availability.
  11. Click on 'Save and Continue’.

How to Register for CAT 2025 Exam

To know about the CAT 2025 registration process, check below:

  1. Visit the online website.
  2. Click on the option provided as – ‘New Candidate Registration.’
  3. Generate OTP for completing the registration process.
  4. Candidate must fill in the details including Name, Email, DOB, Mobile number, etc. and confirm. Entries submitted here cannot be changed so must confirm before the final submission.
  5. Now login with the provided user id and password and start filling other details such as personal, academic, work experience, etc.
  6. Enter your work experience, programs, and test city.
  7. Now pay the application fee using the payment method provided.
  8. Download and save the application for further reference.

Fee Payment

  1. General/OBC applicants are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 2500.
  2. SC/ST/PwD applicants have a discounted application fee of Rs. 1250.
  3. Payment options include Credit card, Debit card, and Net banking.
  4. Upon successful payment, a display message will appear, providing the payment transaction number.
  5. An affirmation email will be sent to the applicant after the payment is processed.
  6. To obtain a printout of the filled application form, the aspirant can log in again as an Existing User.

CAT 2025 Application Correction

Registered applicants for CAT 2025 can change some details on their application form after registration closes. They can edit their test city, signature, and photo online. To make corrections, students need to use their login credentials. Meanwhile, in September of 2025, the CAT Correction Window will open. No applicant will be able to amend details after the deadline for corrections.

CAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for CAT 2025, one must meet the following criteria:

  1. One should have a bachelor's degree from any area with a minimum score of 50% for the General and NC-OBC categories. For SC, ST, and PWD applicants, the required score is 45%.
  2. If one is in the final year of completing the bachelor's degree, they can also appear for the examination.
  3. If one holds a professional degree such as CA/ CS/ ICWA/FIAI, they are eligible for the CAT examination.

CAT 2025 Exam Pattern Overview

The CAT 2025 exam pattern details are given below:

CAT 2025 Admit Card

Candidates should have downloaded the hall ticket from the official website. To download the admit card, candidates should have to enter their registered email ID and password that was generated during the registration process. Candidates have to carry a print copy of the hall ticket along with two passport-size recent color photographs at the exam center on the day of the exam.

Candidates can download the hall ticket for 2024 by following the steps given below:

Step 1: Visit the official website.

  • To download the admit card, candidates should have to visit the official website.

Step 2: Log in to the portal.

  • Candidates have to log in to the portal using the application number and password.

Step 3: Download the admit card.

  • Click on the tab “CAT 2025 Admit Card.”
  • Admit cards will appear; check all the details.
  • After checking all the details, download the admit card/hall ticket.

CAT 2025 Result

The exam conducting authority will declare 2025 on their official website. The link to check the result will be updated on the website. To check the result, candidates have to provide their email ID and password.

Step 2: Log in

  • A login page will open.
  • Enter the required login credentials.

CAT 2025 Cut off

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to calculate their CAT 2025 obtained percentile score. For example, the QA section is chosen. This process can also be used for the other two sections, i.e., DILR and VARC in CAT 2024.

How to calculate

Step 1: the total number of candidates (N) who appeared in the examination.

Step 2: Assign a rank ( r), based on the scaled scores obtained in the QA section. In the case of two or more candidates obtaining identical scaled scores in the QA section, assign identical ranks to all those candidates.

Step 3: Calculate the percentile score (P) of the rank of candidate ( R ) in the QA section P= (N-R)/N * 100

Step 4: Round off the calculated percentile score (P) of the candidates up to two decimal points.
