The Common University Entrance Test, commonly referred to as CUET, is a nationwide entrance examination that offers a level playing field to aspirants from all corners of India. Administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA), CUET 2024 serves as the gateway to undergraduate programs in central universities and various other participating institutions across the country.
CUET UG is conducted in over 300 cities across India and is available in 13 different languages. This computer-based test allows candidates to select their examination duration based on their chosen subjects.

How to Fill the CUET 2024 Application form
To complete the CUET 2024 application process, please follow these steps: Begin by accessing the official website at cuet.samarth.ac.in. Initiate the CUET 2024 registration process by providing essential information such as your name, address, and contact details.
Step 1: Visit the official website, i.e., cuetug.ntaonline.in, and click on the “New Candidate Registration” option.
Step 2: Complete the verification with either an Aadhaar Card/ Digilocker account/ ABC ID/ Indian Passport Number/ PAN Card/ Non-Indian Passport.
Step 3: Create a strong password followed by the security captcha filling, and click on the ‘Submit’ option and obtain the unique application ID
Step 4: Go for “CUET 2025 Applicant Login” and provide the system-generated unique registration ID and the created password.
Step 5: Enter all the personal and academic details, choice of 5 exam cities, and subject codes.
Step 6: Upload a photograph, signature, and category certificate.
Step 7: Click on the “Preview Application Form” option and verify the email address followed by the payment option.
Step 8: Pay CUET registration fees via credit or debit card/ net banking/ UPI.

CUET Eligibility Criteria 2024
Below, you will find comprehensive eligibility criteria for the CUET (CUET) 2024 Examination:
- For Undergraduate (UG) Programs: Candidates should have successfully completed their 10+2 intermediate examination from a recognized board.
- For Postgraduate (PG) Programs: Aspiring candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field from a recognized university to qualify for the examination.
- Nationality: Applicants must be Indian citizens to meet the eligibility requirements for the CUET (CUET) 2024 examination.
- For Candidates Currently in the Process of Completion: Candidates who are currently pursuing their qualifying examinations can also apply for this examination. However, they must provide proof of successfully passing the examination before the prescribed deadline.
CUET 2024 Syllabus
Students gearing up for the CUET 2024 examination must thoroughly familiarize themselves with the CUET 2024 syllabus. It is anticipated that NTA will maintain the existing CUET 2024 syllabus without any alterations.

CUET 2024 Exam Pattern
As mentioned earlier, NTA will conduct CUET exam in both CBT and offline mode. CUET 2024 exam will have three sections, viz., 1A, 1B, 2, and 3. Candidates need to attempt a 40 out of 50 questions each in Section 1A/1B, and 2. In the General Test, total 50 out of 60 questions needs to be attempted. For every correct attempts, a +5 mark is awarded and -1 is given for incorrect attempts.

CUET 2024 Admit Card
NTA will issue CUET 2024 city intimation slip before the issuance of admit cards. The city allotment letter will include the details of test center allocated to the candidate. Aspirants can download CUET 2024 admit card by entering the login credential, such as application number and password.
- Go to the official website, i.e., exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG.
- Click on “Download CUET (UG) 2024 Admit Card/ Hall Ticket” link.
- Enter application number and password.
- Provide the security captcha code and click on the ‘Login’ option.
CUET 2024 Results
NTA will release CUET 2024 answer keys before the publication of results by the fourth week of June 2024. Candidates can get admission into 277 participating colleges with their CUET scores. The results will include details such as name, parents’ names, gender, category, application number, roll number, overall percentile score, normalized score, etc.

Step 2: Click on the “CUET (UG) 2024 Scorecard” option.
Step 3: Provide the application number and date of birth and click on the ‘Submit’ option.
Step 4: Download CUET (UG) 2024 scorecards and take a printout.
CUET 2024 Cut Off
CUET cut off will be released once the results of 2024 exam are declared at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG. NTA will not take responsibility in making the merit list. Candidates can check the merit list of shortlisted ones at respective university’s official website. The previous year, CUET cut off for the general categories can be 384-754 and 482-604 for the reserved categories.
CUET Counseling 2024
The counseling process for CUET 2024 will be conducted in both online and offline modes, with each central university managing its own counseling procedure for the programs they offer. It's important to note that the counseling fees and procedures will vary among central universities.
Applicants can access detailed information about the counseling procedure on the official websites of the respective participating institutions. Please be aware that the counseling process is exclusively for applicants who have successfully registered and performed well in the entrance examination.
Invitations for admission will be extended based on the candidates' entrance exam performance. During the counseling session, applicants are required to bring the following documents:
