Indian Institute of Technology conducts the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced). Through JEE Advanced, IITs offer admission into undergraduate courses leading to a bachelors, integrated Masters, Bachelor-Master Dual Degree in Engineering, Science, or Architecture.
Both bachelor’s and master's degrees are awarded to candidates enrolled in the dural degree programs upon successful completion of the course curriculum requirements. In some IITs, students enrolled into the 4-year bachelors program have the option to pursue B.Tech. (Honors) and/ or B.Tech with minors. The academic programs offered by IITs are listed below:

JEE Advanced 2025 Application Process

How to apply
The candidates can submit their application form only once. To fill out the application form, candidates should have followed the below-mentioned steps:
Step 1: Account Credential Generation
Candidates need to authenticate themselves by providing their JEE (Main) application number, name and date of birth.
Step 2: Fill the JEE Advanced application form
Login with JEE Main application number and generated password. After login, all the personal information will be displayed for those candidates who have qualified the JEE Main exam. Candidates are required to furnish additional information for JEE Advanced.
Step 3: Upload the required documents
Candidates are required to upload the below mentioned documents
- Class X or birth certificate
- Class XII mark sheet
- Category certificate
- PwD certificate
- Persons having less than 40% disability and having difficulty in writing certificate
- Scribe request
- Compensatory time request
- DS Certificate
- OCI/PIO Card/Foreign Passport or citizenship certificate
Step 4: Pay the application fee
After the registration for JEE Advanced 2025, candidates are required to pay the application fee. Candidates can pay the application fee via debit card/ credit card/ internet banking/ UPI/ e-Challan.

JEE Advanced 2025 Eligibility
Candidates can check the course-wise eligibility criteria for 2025:
To appear in the examination, candidates should meet the requirements for eligibility. Candidates should carefully review the qualifying requirements before completing the application.
- Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates in the BE/B.Tech paper of JEE Main 2025.
- Candidates should have been born on or after October 1,1999. For SC,ST and PwD candidates there is five years of age relaxation.
- Candidates can attempt JEE Advanced maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
- A candidats should have appeared for the class XII examination for the first time in either 2024 or 2025 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- A candidate should not have been admitted to an IIT through JoSAA 2024 irrespective of whether or not the candidate continued in the program.

JEE Advanced 2025 Admit Card
Candidates should have downloaded the hall ticket from the official website. To download the admit card, candidates should have to enter their registered email ID and password that was generated during the registration process.
Candidates have to carry a print copy of the hall ticket along with two passport-size recent color photographs at the exam centre on the day of the exam.
