Candidates' verbal and analytical skills, general awareness of their surroundings, and understanding of the fashion industry are evaluated on the 30% weighted GAT. The CAT, which has a 50% weighting, assesses conceptual development, design, and intuitive skills. Twenty percent of the nominated candidates must complete the Situation Test, in which they must produce a model based on a variety of criteria, such as space visualization, material creativity, composition, color use, construction expertise, finesse, and presentation.
Meanwhile, two components of the GAT, components A and B, have a total weight of 100% and are part of the test for the Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech) program. In contrast to Section B, which concentrates on numerical ability, analytical and logical ability, and case study analysis, Section A concentrates on communication skills and English comprehension, quantitative ability, analytical ability, general knowledge, and current affairs.
