Candidates who want to take admission to the BDes program offered by the Symbiosis Institute of Design, should have to appear in the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED). This test is for design aptitude. Before applying for the application form, candidates should have checked the eligibility criteria of the examination, that are described below.
Qualification criteria
- The candidates are required to passed in the class 10+2 examination with the stream of Science, Commerce, Arts etc, or equivalent or 10+3 Diploma program which will be approved by State Board of Technical Education with 50% aggregate marks and for SC/ST candidates 45% marks are required to obtain in the final year examination.
- The candidates who are appearing in the final year examination in 10+2 class or 10+3 Diploma program, can apply for the SEED examination and the result should be declared by June of the admission year.
Age
- There is no age requirement to apply for the SEED exam.
Nationality
- The Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the entrance examination. They are required to provide the following documents such as aadhar card, UID, PAN Card etc.
- The foreign candidates must obtain the equivalent certificate from the Association of Indian Universities if they passed their 10+2 examination or any equivalent exam at the foreign university or board (AIU).
