SEED 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Symbiosis Institute of Design will publish the eligibility criteria of SEED 2025 for admission to the B.Des program. The candidate needs to ensure that they are eligible according to the prescribed eligibility criteria, otherwise, at any stage of the admission process, the candidate can get disqualified. The eligibility criteria for appearing in SEED 2025 for applicants are as follows:

• Educational Qualification:

• Candidates must have passed Class 12 from any stream, such as Science, Commerce, Arts, or an equivalent exam.
• Otherwise, candidates with a 10+3 diploma issued by the State Board of Technical Education with marks of at least 50% for general category and 45% for SC/ ST candidates are eligible.

• Age Limit:

• No age limit applies to SEED 2025.
• The backward class candidates, SC, ST, OBC, and PWD might have some different eligibility criteria.
• Relaxation will be there as per the guidelines given by SID in different categories.

• Provisional Admission:

• Candidates who are giving their final examination in 2025 are also eligible to apply, but the results of that exam must be declared before June 2025.

SEED 2025 Exam Pattern

As mentioned in the official website, candidates have to appear for the SEED exam and get selected candidates in the exam will be called up for portfolio review and personal interaction rounds. SEED 2025 Cut Off

• Candidates included in the merit list have to pay their seat acceptance fee and confirm the seats between April 21 & May 2, 2025. But note that if the payment was not made within the set deadline, the allotment was canceled.
• The written test of SEED-2025 will be conducted on January 12, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria for Participation in SEED 2025 Counseling

Candidates will be shortlisted for SEED 2025 counseling and seat allotment on the basis of their merit rank in the entrance exam conducted by SID.

Merit rank, as elaborated above, is prepared on the cumulative basis considering the performance of a candidate in:

• Portfolio review

The 1st merit list-cum-seat allotment of SEED 2025 would be available for download from April 21, 2025.
