The Symbiosis Institute of Design conducts the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for design to provide admission in the B.Des program offered by the university and participating institute. The SEED exam is a design aptitude test to examine the candidate’s colour, geometry, visual observation, creative thinking abilities, general design awareness, awareness of Indian culture, craft and traditions etc.

SEED 2025 Application Process
Desirous candidates have to apply for SEED online. The candidates are required to apply only as per the procedure mentioned in details below. How to apply The candidates can submit their application form only once. To fill out the application form, candidates should have followed the below-mentioned steps:
- Applicants must first register themselves on the official website of the https://siu.ishinfo.com/BDESY25/Register/
- Fill out the registration form with all the required information and verify it with OTP verification.
- Once the OTP is validated the applicant would be redirected to the dashboard page.
- In the dashboard candidates will be allowed to proceed with the process of filling up the details form.
- Click on “Apply new application”.
- Candidates should have provided the information while filling the application form, that is, personal information, address and contact information, academic details, documents upload.
- Submit the application form and pay the application fee
SEED 2025 Eligibility
Candidates can check the course-wise eligibility criteria for 2025: To appear in the examination, candidates should meet the requirements for eligibility. Candidates should carefully review the qualifying requirements before completing the application.
- The candidates are required to passed in the class 10+2 examination with the stream of Science, Commerce, Arts etc, or equivalent or 10+3 Diploma program which will be approved by State Board of Technical Education with 50% aggregate marks and for SC/ST candidates 45% marks are required to obtain in the final year examination.
- The candidates who are appearing in the final year examination in 10+2 class or 10+3 Diploma program, can apply for the SEED examination and the result should be declared by June of the admission year.

SEED 2025 Admit Card
Candidates should have downloaded the hall ticket from the official website. To download the admit card, candidates should have to enter their registered email ID and password that was generated during the registration process. Candidates have to carry a print copy of the hall ticket along with two passport-size recent color photographs at the exam center on the day of the exam.

SEED 2025 Cut Off
The final allotment of posts is made on the basis of merit and preference. Posts/Departments given by the candidates, and once a post is allotted, no change of posts will be made by the Commission due to non-fulfillment of any post specific requirements of physical, medical, or educational standards.
