The Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design is administered by the Symbiosis Institute of Design in order to grant admission to the BDes program that both the university and participating institute offer.
The SEED exam measures a candidate's aptitude for design and looks at things like color, geometry, visual perception, creative thinking, general design awareness, and knowledge of Indian craft, culture, and traditions. Typically, the questions are multiple choice in an objective format.

- The online registration process will be started on 16th August, 2024.
- The Last date to apply for the exam is 25th December 2024.
- The admit card will be available on 2nd to 12th January 2025.
- The mock test will be held on 9th to 10th January 2025.
- The entrance exam will be held on 12th January 2025.
- The result will be declared on 17th January 2025.
