UCEED 2024 Application process

Various participating universities will start accepting students into their B. Des programs following the release of the rank lists. Participation in Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design Counseling/Admission is restricted to candidates who meet Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design qualifications. It will start in the second or third week of March 2024. Online access to the common application form will be provided. Students must fill up their personal information and select the institutes of their choice. In addition to paying the charge, students must upload specific documentation. The institution's seat availability, candidate category, and AIR will all be taken into consideration when allocating seats. Only the candidates' ultimate admission will be confirmed by the admitting institutions.

How To Apply For UCEED 2024

To apply for UCEED 2024, follow these steps:

Registration:

1. Visit the UCEED official website for admission.
2. To register for Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design 2024, candidates should enter their name, email address, and mobile number.
3. The Registration Portal provides detailed instructions for completing the online application. Online registration begins on October 3, 2023.Eligibility Criteria:

Registration Fee:

1. The registration fee structure for Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design 2024 is as follows:

3. Female Candidates (all categories): ₹1900
4. SC, ST, PWD Candidates: ₹1900
5. All Other Candidates: ₹3800
6. Foreign Nationals (holders of OCI/PIO cards issued ON or BEFORE 4th March 2021):

8. Foreign Nationals (including holders of OCI/PIO cards issued AFTER 4th March 2021):
9. Candidates from SAARC countries: US $400
10. Candidates from Non-SAARC countries: US $500

12. The specified fees apply until the closing date of November 13, 2023 (11:55 pm).
13. Candidates registering after the closing date will incur a late fee of ₹500/US $50 until the late registration closing date, i.e., November 20, 2023 (11:55 pm).
    

    Services for PWD Candidates:

    1. PWD candidates can avail the services of a scribe (amanuensis) for Part-A of the examination.
    2. Compensatory time:
       1. 20 minutes per hour for Part-A.
       2. 10 minutes for Part-B.
    3. PWD certificate must be uploaded during registration.
    4. Detailed instructions related to payment of registration fee will be available on the online registration portal.

Eligibility

Candidates can check the course-wise eligibility criteria for 2024:

Age Limit: The candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1999.

Number of Attempts: A candidate can attempt UCEED a maximum of two times.

Qualifying examination: The candidate should have passed all subjects in the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent) in 2023 OR should be appearing for the qualifying examination for the first time in 2024 to be eligible for attempting UCEED 2024. Students from ALL STREAMS (Science, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible. Those who appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination (Class XII) in 2022 or earlier are NOT eligible to appear in UCEED 2024.

UCEED 2024 Exam Pattern

The official website of the UCEED 2024 entrance exam conducting authorities specifies the exam pattern. The exam will take place online and last for 120 minutes.

UCEED 2024 Answer Key

The UCEED answer key became available on January 23, 2024. Both the draft key and the question papers are accessible online.
