The Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B) is an entrance exam that is administered throughout India to determine a candidate's eligibility for postgraduate programs in Biotechnology and related fields that are sponsored by DBT at participating Indian institutes and universities.

Postgraduate programs funded by DBT include M.Tech Biotechnology and associated fields, MSc Agriculture Biotechnology, MVSc Animal Biotechnology, and MSc (biotechnology and allied areas).
