The entire exam pattern information for MAT 2025 is detailed below:

Test Mode

The MAT 2025 exam will be conducted in the following modes:

  1. CBT (Computer Based Test)
  2. PBT (Paper Based Test)
  3. IBT (Internet Based Test)

Exam Sections

The exam will consist of a total of 5 sections:

  1. Language and Comprehension
  2. Mathematical Skills
  3. Data Analysis and Sufficiency
  4. Intelligence and Critical Reasoning
  5. Indian & Global Environment
Exam Time Allotment

The exam duration is 2 hours, reduced from the previous 2.5 hours, and the number of questions has been reduced to 150 from 200.

Total Questions

The exam will contain a total of 150 questions.

Marking System

Each correct response will receive one mark.

Negative Marking

0.25 points will be deducted for each incorrect response.

  3. Types of questions: Family relations, cause and effect, assumptions, clocks and calendars, reasons, analogies, directions, series, and incorrect terms.
Mathematical Skills

Data Analysis and Sufficiency
