• The Maharashtra CET Cell will tentatively release the MHT CET Application Form 2025 in January. It will be available online at cetcell.mahacet.org.

• Click on New Candidate Registration
• Register for the exam by filling in the required information and clicking on the submit button

MHT CET 2025: Step-by-Step Guide to Fill Form

The MHT CET registration 2025 will start in January. The MHT CET 2025 Application form will be available only online. MHT CET 2025 registration includes various steps like filling out the application form, uploading documents, paying the application fee, etc. Students can follow the steps given below to fill out the MHT CET application form 2025:

Step 1: MHT CET 2025 Registration

The first step in the application process is registration. The following information has to be filled in while registering.

Personal Details

• Candidate’s Full Name
• Father’s Name
• Mother’s Name
• Gender
• Date of Birth
• The region to which the candidate belongs
• Annual Family Income
• Mother Tongue
• Nationality

Permanent Address:

The complete address of the candidate, including the PIN Code, should be filled in. The mobile number and email address should be filled in during registration for further communication.

Choose Password:

A password of 8 to 13 characters must be created per the instructions given to create a password. The next step is to click on save and proceed. After this, a one-time password will be sent to the registered mobile number. The one-time password should be entered and verified in the space given. Immediately after that, an application number will be generated. The candidate should save the application number.

Step 2: Filling Online Application form

The candidate must enter the application number and password generated to open the application form. The candidates must fill in the following details in the application form.

1. Domicile Details: Candidates must select their domicile- from Maharashtra or non-Maharashtra.
2. Category Details: In this section, the candidates must fill in the following details

• Category of the candidate
• The annual income of the family
• Caste name
• Mention if the candidate is a person with disabilities
• Mention if the candidate wants to apply for an economically weaker section

1. Education Details: The candidate must fill in Class 10 and Class 12 percentages and all the related information in this section.

1. MHT CET Examination Details: The candidates should then select the examination details. They will be prompted to select the subject group, language preference, and examination centre.

• Select the subject group for MHTCET 2025: The candidates must select if it is PCM/PCB or both.
• Select the language/medium of the question paper: The candidates must select English, Marathi or Urdu.
• Select MHTCET 2025 examination centre: The candidates can enter their preferred examination centres.

After filling in all the details on the application form, the candidate must click save and proceed. The candidates can preview the details filled in on the application form and then submit it.

Step 3: Uploading Images

Candidates must also upload scanned images of their passport-size colour photograph and signature in the MHT CET application form 2025. To upload the images, candidates must click the “Upload Photo & Signature” link at the MHT CET registration portal. The signature and photograph uploaded by the candidates must be according to the standard decided by the exam conducting authority.

For Uploading photograph

• Take a recent colour passport-size photograph. The picture should be taken against a light/white background. If the face on the photograph is not clear, your application may be rejected.
• The photograph's file size should be between 15 KB and 50 KB. Otherwise, the system will not accept it.
• To reduce the size, crop the image of the passport-size photograph in MS Paint or any other Photo Editing Software.
• Please ensure that only the whole face portion is cropped and not the entire photograph.

For Uploading Signature

• The candidate himself/herself should sign (no capital letters) on white paper with a black ink pen.
• Scan the signature in 200 dpi (dots per inch) scanner resolution settings, and the file size should be between 5 KB and 20 KB in .jpg format.
• To reduce the size, crop the image of the signature in MS Paint or any other Photo Editor. Please ensure that only the signature portion is cropped and not the entire A4 paper on which you have signed.
• Once the candidate successfully uploads the photograph and signature files, the system will show the photograph and signature uploaded on the screen. If these have been correctly uploaded, you should make the online payment.

Step 4: MHT CET 2025 Application Fee Payment

Candidates must pay the requisite MHT CET 2025 application fee using net banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/Mobile wallets. The candidate must bear the service charge (as applicable).
