UUEE exam has been replaced with CUET UG and PG for undergraduate and postgraduate admissions. Beginning in 2024, NTA started to conduct the CUET exam in a hybrid format, which combines both offline and computer-based testing. The CUET 2025 exam will be offered in three shifts on various days. In the test, candidates will be given multiple-choice questions. Sections 1A, 1B, 2, and 3 will be present. There are 50 questions in each of the first three sections, and there are 60 questions in Section 3. Nonetheless, candidates must respond to 40 out of 50 and 50 out of 60 questions, respectively, section-wise. The choice to take the test in any of the 13 designated languages was available to candidates. Likewise, the pattern of CUET (PG) examination has also changed in a few aspects. Like the duration of the examination has now been reduced to 105 from 120 minutes. Now, candidates will be required to answer 75 instead of 100 MCQs. Mode of CUET (UG) 2025 Examination
In 2024, NTA began offering the CUET (UG) 2025 exam in a hybrid format, meaning it will be administered both online and using a computer. The authorities made the decision to preserve the options available to students who couldn't go far enough to take exams.
UUEE 2025: CUET (UG) 2025 Examination Duration
Applicants will have three-time slots of two hours each to finish the CUET (UG) 2025 exam. Sections 1A, 1B, and Section 2 will have 45-minute sectional time limits each. Students will have a total of sixty minutes in Section 3.
Medium of CUET (UG) 2025 Examination
Candidates can take the CUET (UG) entrance examination in any of the 13 languages listed, including Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

Mode of CUET (PG) 2025 Entrance Examination
NTA will conduct CUET (PG) 2025 entrance examination in an online computer-based test (CBT) mode. The exam will be conducted in three shifts. All the candidates need to log in to the allotted system 10 minutes before the start of the test. In case of any difficulties faced by the candidates like technical bugs and glitches, the same should be reported to the invigilator-in-charge to be resolved at the earliest.
Duration of CUET (PG) 2025 Entrance Examination
CUET (PG) 2025 entrance examination will be conducted in three slots. Each slot will be of 105 minutes. Previously, the examination duration was 120 minutes. The PwBD Candidates will receive 20 minutes of compensation for each hour of the exam.
Medium of CUET (PG) 2025 Entrance Examination
NTA will set the CUET (PG) 2025 question paper in two languages/ bilingual format. Except for languages, M. Tech. Higher Sciences and Acharya papers (apart from Hindu Studies, Baudha Dharshan, and Indian Knowledge System), the question paper for the CUET (PG) 2024 will be bilingual in English and Hindi. Please be aware that, except for language and Sahitya papers, the English version of the question papers will be considered definitive for accuracy.
Question Paper Pattern of CUET (PG) 2025 Entrance Examination
The pattern of the question paper will be different as per the subjects chosen by the candidate in CUET (PG) 2025 examination. The structure of CUET (PG) 2025 entrance examination is as follows:
- A maximum of four question paper codes may be selected by the test taker.
- There would be no General Test paper mandatorily with each subject.
- The candidate may select General Paper as their subject. The candidate may select Hindi or English for the comprehension portion of the exam when registering.
- The time allocation for CUET (PG) 2025 exam would be 105 Minutes.
- CUET (PG) 2025 will have a total of 75 MCQs. Previously it was 100 MCQs.
- Four marks would be given for every correct response, while one mark would be taken away for every incorrect answer.
- Papers on languages will be written in the relevant language, except linguistics, which will be in English.
- The language of M.Tech/ Higher Sciences will be English only.
- Except for Hindu Studies, the Indian Knowledge System, and Baudha Darshan, all Acharya Papers are written in Sanskrit.
- Languages used in Common Papers, Sciences, and Humanities would be Hindi and English.
- CUET (PG) 2025 entrance examination will be conducted in three shifts.
- All question types, with the exception of languages and Acharya, will be considered final when submitted in English.
