VIT University Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE-2025)

Candidates can check the eligibility for VIT Entrance Exam at the official website of the college. Only eligible candidates can apply for VIT entrance examination 2025. VIT 2025 eligibility criteria includes such as Nationality, age, marks, mandatory subjects.

Nationality

1. The candidates should be resident/ non-resident Indian National/ PIO/ OCI.
2. NRI applicants can directly under ‘NRI category’ through NRI application form.
3. For foreign students who studied abroad can apply directly through the international application form.

Age Limit

1. Applicants whose date of birth is after 1st July 2002 are eligible to apply for admission 2025.
2. The date of birth as recorded in the high school/ SSC/ X Certificate will be considered as proof.
3. Candidates should have a certificate as proof of their age at the time of counselling/ admission.

Required Qualifying examination

Those candidates applying for UG Admission should have completed or shall be appearing in 2-25, in any one of the following qualifying examinations

1. The final examination of the 10+2 of higher secondary examination.
2. Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
3. High School Certificate examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate office, Geneva. (Physics & Mathematics- HL, Chemistry- SL).
4. General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/ Cambridge/ Sri Lanka) at the advanced (A) level.
5. Regular ‘NOIS’ Board candidates are also eligible for undergraduate engineering programs. Applicants should produce the migration cum transfer certificate at the time of joining.
6. Applicants who have completed the class 12 (or equivalent) examination outside or from a Board not specified above should produce a certificate from the association of Indian Universities (AIU) to the effect that the examination they have passed is equivalent to the class 12 examination with grade/ CGPA converted to percentage.

Requirement of Qualifying Examination

1. Candidates should have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology in the qualifying examination.
2. Candidates who applying for the Undergraduate Engineering Admission in 2025 should have passed with minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology in the qualifying examination for the following categories:
3. Applicants belonging to SC/ST
4. Applicants hailing from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the Northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.

Subjects Eligibility

1. PCMB/ PCM applicants who attempted Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and Aptitude in VITEEE 2025 are eligible for all B.Tech programs.
2. Candidates who have attempts Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English and Aptitude in VITEEE 2024 & Candidates who have attempted Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and Aptitude.

VITEEE 2025 are eligible for the following programs

1. B.Tech Biotechnology
2. B.Tech Computer science and engineering (Bioinformatics)
3. B.Tech Electronics and Communication engineering
4. B.Tech Bioengineering
5. B.Tech Computer science and engineering ( Health Informatics)
6. B.Tech Health science and technology
