Alagappa Government Arts College known as AGAC based in Karaikudi, established in the year of 1947 as a co-educational institute by the great philanthropist late Dr. RM. Alagappa Chettiar.it is one of the premier arts colleges of TamilNadu.it is approved by AICTE new delhi .it is affiliated to Alagappa University. It is also re-certified with -˜B' grade by NAAC. The College offers programs like UG, PG and PhD programs.For these programs it offers different courses which include BA,BSc,BCom,MA,MSc etc in various levels and in various departments.
