Does Jain University offer direct admission under B.Tech program?
Jain University does not offer direct admission for its regular four-year BTech program. Admission to the BTech course is entirely based on a candidate's performance in the Jain Entrance Test (JET), or their scores in other recognized entrance exams like JEE Main, Uni-GAUGE, or COMEDK. Final selection is determined by the scores obtained in these exams, followed by a counselling round. However, candidates have the option of securing direct admission into the second year of BTech through the Lateral Entry program. This pathway is available to students based on their academic performance, specifically the percentage scored in their most recent Diploma course. Importantly, the Lateral Entry admission is merit-based, and there’s no need to appear for an entrance exam.
