Goa Institute of Management (GIM) Goa provides admission to its flagship program PGDM, Hybrid PGDM, and FPM. The admission process is similar for PGDM and its specializations, however, it's different in case of Hybrid PGDM and FPM. The shortlisting of students at GIM Goa follows a different pattern of selection. A selected group of students are selected for the Achiever's Round who are then required to complete an online Written Aptitude Test (WAT) as per the scheduled date in due course. The selection criteria of GIM Goa is divided into different parts carrying different weightage such as Objective Assessment (40%), Past Academic Records (15%), Work Experience (if any - 10%), Face to Face Evaluation (30%), and Profile Assessment Index / Diversity (5%).
For Selection for the face to face evaluation process, the qualifying cutoff score of the competitive exam may be lowered by up to 15 points for candidates of Goan domicile / origin. Students need to present a hard copy of documentary evidence of origin / domicile. GIM Goa PGDM / PGDM-HCM / PGDM-BIFS Programs and Selection Criteria 2025
Applicants are required to have a valid CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT score to qualify for GIM Goa Admission Process 2025. Students with program-specific or other achievements like academic, sports, Co-curriculum activities, and personal experience, are selected for the Achiever's Round. Whereas remaining students will be interviewed for the Regular Round. The selected students of Achiever's around will be cross-checked profile based and given spot admission. Whereas regular round interviewed students can check out the merit list published by the institute for the final selection of students.

GIM Goa PGDM-BDA Program and Selection Criteria 2025
For the GIM PGDM-BDA program, students' overall profile, competitive exam score, and score of GIM Analytics Aptitude Test (GAAT) shall be considered for shortlisting candidates for face to face evaluation. Only a selected group of candidates will be invited in selected cities for Achiever's Round. Remaining candidates will go through the Regular Round. Final shortlisted candidates will also need to complete an online Written Aptitude Test (WAT) as per the institute's scheduled date.

For GIM Hybrid PGDM (online) program, students are shortlisted based on their overall performance in the interview followed by test score & profile of the candidate. The fees of Hybrid PGDM program at GIM for two years is INR 5,00,000. In majority, the institute focuses on selecting the following candidates for the Hybrid PGDM program -
