Gujarat Maritime University LLM Admission 2025
Gujarat Maritime University (GMU) provides with two LL.M. program specializations, which are LL.M. in maritime law and LL.M. in international trade law. For admission to these courses, candidates should possess a LLB or an equivalent degree from a recognized university and must have obtained at least 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA for students of the general category, whereas for SC/ST candidates, the minimum percentage of marks is 45% or an equivalent CGPA.
The admission in the LL.M. in Maritime Law will be on the basis of merit in the Combined Law Aptitude Test (CLAT); however, for the LL.M. in International Trade Law, the candidates will be evaluated on their parents bachelor’s degree program, motivation letter, and a personal interview. Candidates who are interested in applying must do so online, and final result-awaited candidates can apply provisionally, subject to submission of a completion certificate within a month from the commencement of the program .
In case some seats remain vacant after the first admissions process, GMU will also use CLAT scores for filling these seats. The university also follows a government reservation policy for all its courses in order to make education accessible to all. Gujarat Maritime University MBA Admission 2025
Gujarat Maritime University (GMU) has introduced a specialized MBA in Shipping and Logistics for the academic year 2025. The total number of seats available for this program is 60. This program is suitable for all the candidates holding a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university and securing at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST category candidates). Admission will be granted through a competitive process, and valid scores from national entrance tests such as CAT , XAT , MAT , CMAT , and GMAT will be accepted. After the entrance examination, candidates will engage in a group discussion and personal interview for purposes of gauging their fit for the program.
To secure admission, GMU offers two options: State Quota Seats (50%), where the students must submit their application via the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) website, and All India Seats (50%), where the students may apply online through GMU’s own website. This enhances the ideal of selection of students to the program with a view to using the students benefit of diversity. Gujarat Maritime University Executive Diploma Program Admission 2025
Gujarat Maritime University (GMU) has devised a one-year Executive Development Program (EDP) in International Trade Law and Maritime Law for graduates who want to build their skills in either of the two aspects more professionally. Those willing to undertake the EDP are required to have a graduate degree from any recognized university, secured with at least 50% marks (or 45% for SC/ST candidates). Candidates are admitted into the program on the basis of merit, which includes the personal interview and the assessment of the Statement of Purpose (SOP) submitted by the candidate.
In order to pursue the EDP, the candidate is expected to apply by the given procedure online. The university enrolled students based on the government reservation policies, thereby making sure all students are treated fairly. Application form fees are fixed at a rate of INR 4,000 for general category applicants, INR 2,000, respectively, for SC/ST/Gujarat domicile reservation category applications, and INR 10,000 for NRI applications. Gujarat Maritime University PhD Program Admission 2025
Gujarat Maritime University (GMU) provides a doctoral degree in law and management studies in fields likeInternational trade Law, International Environmental Law and Human Resource Management and it has four seats for each specialization. Any candidate intending to take up the position of PhD must have completed a Master’s degree or agree to the equivalent which the relevant statutory regulatory body recognizes, and he or she must have scored at least 55% of the marks (50% for SC, ST, OBC, and/or Differently Abled individuals). The procedure of selection involves an online entrance test as well as a demonstration of a research proposal to the Doctoral Research Committee (DRC).
It is mandatory for all the applicants to fill out an online admission form and pay the application fees of INR 4,000 (INR 2,000 for reserved categories) to apply for the Ph.D. program. The last date for submission of the application with all necessary certificates is October 13, 2023. The university also abides by the policy of the Government of India on reservations, which assists in providing fairness to all applicants.
