Himalayan Institute of Technology (HIT) located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand is approved by AICTE and recognized by UGC and has won several awards for its academic services which reflects the academic excellence it holds. Himalayan Institute of Technology offers a diploma course of one year duration in hotel management for students aiming to start their career in the hospitality industry.

Note- Apart from minimum eligibility a personal interview may be conducted for admissions in most of the courses.

HIT Dehradun Admission Process

The application process for admission at Himalayan Institute of Technology is very easy and it is a 5 step process which needs to be completed online on the college website. However, it is compulsory to check the eligibility of the course before starting the application. The steps involved in the application process are-

1. Online registration of students
2. OTP verification after successful registration
3. Filling up the complete application form which may require students' details, academic details etc.
4. Paying application fee (non-refundable)
5. Submitting the application form.
6. After the application form is submitted shortlisted students will be called for counselling and physical document verification.

During document verification, students are advised to bring all the original as well as Xerox copies of the documents like 10th, and 12th, graduation mark sheets, Aadhar card, domicile and caste certificate if applicable, printout of online application form etc.
