- The candidates who have appeared for the CAT Exam conducted by IIMs will be shortlisted based on their exam percentiles, including the sectional cut-offs.

The shortlisted candidates will be called for selection, including a Writing Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview.
- Writing Ability Test (WAT): The candidates will have to write an essay on the given topic. They will be evaluated on their clarity, ability to comprehend, and techniques of presenting and expressing the idea.

- The eligibility criteria also included that the candidates must have passed the class 10th examination with 60% marks (55% for SC/ ST/ PwD/ Transgender candidates).
- Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many state boards have not awarded marks to the candidates of class 10th in 2021. Therefore, on request of such students, the clause of a minimum of 60% percentage (55% for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender) in class 10th has been waived off.
