IIFT Delhi

IIFT Delhi offers an integrated MBA, an MA, and executive and doctorate programs in management. IIFT Delhi MBA admissions shortlisting for 2025 will be based on the CAT Entrance examination conducted by IIMs. The selection process for the MBA (IB) includes WAT-GD/ Extempore-PI, along with CAT score, whereas for the MBA (BA), the selection process includes CAT/GMAT score, Extempore, and a Personal Interview.

IIFT Delhi Integrated MBA accepts the IPMAT exam conducted by IIM Indore. IIFT Executive program admission is done through a personal interview, and the institute conducts its entrance examination for IIFT Delhi MA and PhD courses.

Candidates with a bachelor’s degree and an aggregate of 50% marks are eligible for MBA (IB) admission at IIFT Delhi. Candidates in the final year of admission are also eligible to apply. IIFT Delhi MBA (IB) admission process includes the following stages:

The selection of the candidates for the MBA (IB) program is done through 2 stages, explained in the sections below:

IIFT Delhi MBA (IB) Selection Criteria 1: Shortlisting

• The candidates who have appeared for the CAT Exam conducted by IIMs will be shortlisted based on their exam percentiles, including the sectional cut-offs.
• The minimum cut-off percentile will be decided by IIFT, according to the availability of seats.
• The cut-off for the female candidates will be 2 less than the actual cut-off.
• The marks obtained in Xth and XIIth will also be considered while shortlisting the candidates.
• Also, up to 5 points may be awarded to non-engineers to ensure balance in the class composition.

IIFT Delhi MBA (IB) Cut-off 2024

IIFT Delhi canceled its IIFT Entrance Exam conducted by NTA every year, and the shortlisting for admission is solely done through the CAT 2024 entrance exam. The following is the CAT cut-off:

IIFT Delhi MBA (IB) Selection Criteria 2: WAT-GD/ Extempore-PI

The shortlisted candidates will be called for selection, including a Writing Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview.

• Writing Ability Test (WAT): The candidates will have to write an essay on the given topic. They will be evaluated on their clarity, ability to comprehend, and techniques of presenting and expressing the idea.

• Group Discussion (GD): The candidates will be divided into small groups and given a topic to discuss within the group. The candidates will be evaluated on their ability to demonstrate leadership skills, team player skills, communication, content, and ability to provide new insights on the topic.

• Personal Interview (PI): The candidate appearing for the personal interview will be evaluated based on academic, extracurricular, and analytical performance.

IIFT Delhi Weekend MBA (IB) Admission 2025

The candidates with a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum aggregate of 55% (50% for ST/ SC/ PWD category) and 3 years of managerial work experience are eligible to apply for the Weekend MBA (IB) program at IIFT Delhi. The admission is usually based on the candidate's performance in the Essay Writing, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview conducted in the IIFT Delhi Campus.

The candidates who hold a Bachelor’s degree with 50% or 5.0 CGPA out of 20 and have studied Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects in Graduation OR B.Tech/ BE degree with 50% marks or 5.0 GCPA are eligible to apply for the MBA (BA) program at IIFT Delhi.

IIFT Delhi EPGD-GHRM is an 18 months program conducted during the weekends, for working professionals. Anyone who fulfils the following eligibility criteria is eligible to apply for the EPGD-GHRM program at IIFT Delhi:

• 3 years of managerial/ executive level work experience. (OR)
• Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks (45% for ST/ SC/ PWD) and Postgraduate in any professional degree like HR, Law, Engineering, Architecture, medicine, Pharmaceutical, Agriculture, Horticulture, etc. The candidates should also have 2 -years of work experience.

IIFT Delhi EPGD-GHRM Admission Process 2025

IIFT Delhi admission process for the EPGDM GHRM program will include the following stages:

The selection for the EPGD-GHRM program will be based on the candidate’s overall performance in the Personal Interview. Past academic record, Work experience, motivation to complete the program, and willingness to excel would provide extra weightage in the overall assessment for admission.

IIFT Delhi EPGD-GHRM Admission: How to Apply?

• Interested candidates must register at the IIFT website for the EPGD-GHRM program.
• The candidates must fill out the application form and upload all the relevant certificates/ documents.
• They must pay the application fee of INR 2,000 for GEN/ OBC and INR 1,000 for SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates.

IIFT IPM Admission 2025

The candidates who have passed 10+2 in the arts/ commerce/ science stream and have studied Mathematics/ Business mathematics as one of the subjects, with 60% marks (55% for SC/ ST/ Transgender) are eligible to apply for the IPM program.

IIFT Delhi IPM Admission: Key Changes

• The eligibility criteria also included that the candidates must have passed the class 10th examination with 60% marks (55% for SC/ ST/ PwD/ Transgender candidates).
• Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many state boards have not awarded marks to the candidates of class 10th in 2021. Therefore, on request of such students, the clause of a minimum of 60% percentage (55% for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender) in class 10th has been waived off.

IIFT Delhi IPM Selection Criteria

The selection of the candidates is based on the performance of the candidates in the IPMAT examination. The weightage of all the parameters for selection are as follows:

• Interested candidates must visit the IIM Indore website and register for IPMAT by submitting the application form and paying INR 4,130 (INR 2,065 for ST/ SC/ PwD).
• After submitting the IPMAT application form, the candidates should note the registration number of the application, as it will be required while filling out the IIFT online application form.
• Then visit the IIFT website, fill out the application form for the IPM program and pay the application fee of INR 2,000 (INR 1,000 for ST/ SC/ PwD).

IIFT Delhi MA Economics Admission 2025

The candidates who hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 50% marks (45% for ST/ SC/ PwD candidates) are eligible to apply for the MA in Economics. The candidates who are in the final year of graduation are also eligible. IIFT Delhi MA Economics admission procedure includes the following stages:

IIFT Delhi PhD Admission 2025

IIFT Delhi admission for PhD program includes the following stages mentioned in the table below:

IIFT Delhi PhD Selection Criteria

• The candidates who score 50% marks in the entrance test will be shortlisted for the personal interview. A relaxation of 5% marks will be allowed in the entrance examination for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/differently abled category, Economically Weaker Section (EWS)
• The final selection of the candidates will be made based on the performance of the candidate in the entrance examination and the personal interview.
• The weightage for the entrance exam is 70%, and 30% is the performance in the interview.

IIFT Delhi PhD Admission: How to Apply?

• Interested candidates will have to download the application form from the IIFT website.
• They will have to fill out the application form and submit the same along with the application fee of INR 2,500 (INR 1,250 for ST/ SC/ PwD candidates).

The application form should be sent with all the documents that include:

• Statement of Purpose, according to the template provided.
• Self-attested copies of Certificates and Marksheets of qualifying degrees and other certificates (from SSC level).

• Two letters of recommendation
• At least one example of scholarly research or professional writing.
