A scholarship called Mrs. Sudha Krishnan's endowment scholarship which is provided by Kannur university. The 1st year UG students who belong to financially weaker section are eligible for apply in this scholarship. Interested candidates have to score more than 60% in 12th standard and students family income should not more than INR 60,000 per year.

DBT NET/ JRF:
Through the DBT-Junior Research Fellowship (DBT-JRF) Program, the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, offers fellowships for pursuing biotechnology and life-sciences research. Since its inception in 2004, the DBT-JRF Program has been important in developing highly qualified people resources and advancing research in cutting-edge biotechnology fields.
The Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) is an online exam that is administered annually to select fellows. The results are divided into two categories, or categories I and II, based on the Government of India's reservation regulations. The program allows fellows chosen under Category-I to apply for fellowships. These fellowships can be taken up at any Indian university or institution where the chosen fellow signs up for a doctoral program.
DBT RA:
A researcher's future development might greatly benefit from post-doctoral training in terms of polishing their skill set, absorbing new information, and picking up techniques for performing independent scientific research. The DBT-Research Associateship Program in Biotechnology was started back in 1999 by the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, in recognition of the value of post-doctoral training in career development. The DBT-RA Program's goals are to develop a strong postdoctoral foundation for the growth of the nation's biotechnology industries, as well as to train and support a new generation of scientists and researchers and produce a critical mass of skilled labor in the modern fields of biology and biotechnology.
TWAS-DBT PDF:
The TWAS-DBT PDF outlines the availability of TWAS-DBT Postdoctoral Scholarships, which can be pursued for a duration ranging from a minimum of 12 months to a maximum of 18 months at renowned biotechnology research institutions in India. It is important to note that only Biotech Aspects are eligible when selecting from the fields of Chemical or Biological Sciences. A list of biotechnology institutes in India is provided below (under Application Documents) to assist candidates in choosing a suitable host institution. The DBT offers a monthly stipend of Rs. 61,000 along with House Rent Allowance (HRA) and Rs. 600 for health insurance. In accordance with the Government of India’s HRA regulations, recipients of the fellowship will also receive a contingency payment of Rs. 50,000 per year.
