  2. Students should register on the portal with a new login id and password.

How to apply

Step 1: Registration

  1. Register online for filling up the admission form on the Mithibai College website homepage.

Step 2: fill the application form

  1. Applicants are required to fill the application form.

Step 3: payment

  1. Applicants are required to make the mandatory online payment of Rs. 100/- as admission procession fees.

Undergraduate admission ( for other than In-house students )/ post graduation admission

Applicants aspiring to take admission in SVKM'S Mithibai College of Arts, Chauhan Institute of Science and Amrutben Jivanlal College of Commerce and Economics are required to

Step 1: fill the pre-enrollment form

  1. Fill the online University of Mumbai pre-enrollment form from https://muugadmission.samarth.edu.in/ under autonomous category as Mithibai College is an autonomous College.

Step 2: Registration

  1. Register for filling up the Common online admission form for admission to Mithibai College (Autonomous), NM College (Autonomous) & UPG College for each desired program, on the Mithibai website homepage.

Step 3: fill the application form

  1. Applicants are required to fill the application form with required information.

Step 4: Payment

  1. Applicants are required to make the mandatory online payment of Rs. 100/- as admission processing fees failing which their form will not be considered for merit list generation and for admission.

Step 5: create use ID

  1. Applicants will have to make a single user-ID on the portal. With the same user-ID students can apply at Mithibai College and/or NM college and/or UPG College for all programs.

Ph.D admission

Mithibai College offers a PhD program at doctoral level. It offers PhD in 7 disciplines in Commerce, Zoology, English, Biotechnology, Mathematics, Botany, Microbiology. Admission to this course will be granted on the basis of the candidate's performance in the PET (Ph.D Entrance Test).

Selection criteria
  1. Selection for the Ph.D. courses of Mithibai College is based on an entrance test (PET) and interview conducted by the University of Mumbai.
  2. The entrance result which is accepted for admission includes. PET/NET/GATE/SET/JRF along with their master's and graduation degrees.
  3. Candidates who qualified for their examination or hold a fellowship degree from CSIR/ICAR/ICMR/UGC/DBT are exempted from the PET.
  4. Candidates who will qualify for the Entrance Test PET need to fill up a prescribed form and submit it along with a demand draft of INR 100.

Eligibility

Courses Eligibility
BA Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate.
BAMMC Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
B.Com Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate.
B.Sc Candidates must have passed 10+2 examinations in the science stream.
BMS Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.

Or

Diploma program in any engineering branch with 2 or 3 years after SSC examination.

MA BA in relevant subject
M.Com B.Com/B.Com (Hons) from any other recognized university
M.Sc B.Sc in relevant discipline with minimum 46 credits or its equivalent from Mumbai University or any other recognized University.
