The SOL DU offers Undergraduate/ Postgraduate Degree courses in the subjects of Arts/Humanities and Commerce. The printed course material is distributed by mail to all the enrolled students through the medium of instructions. Various study center are run by DU SOL for Personal Contact Program conducted for the benefit of students, for academic interaction with students an experienced faculty is always available at the main campus.

DU SOL MA:
SOL DU provides an MA program at the postgraduate level that lasts two to four years at the most. There are four specialty options for the postgraduate course. The MA admission process at DU SOL is entrance- and merit-based. Only Delhi University students are granted direct admission, accounting for 50% of the available seats. The admission exam and interviews/group discussions with students from outside Delhi University are used to fill the remaining 50% of the seats. Candidates do not need to register separately for the MA from SOL DU because the SOL option is automatically selected on the DU application form.

DU SOL M.Com:
An MCom programme is also available from the School of Open Learning, University of Delhi, or SOL DU, for a minimum of two and a maximum of four years. Depending on the number of seats available, admission is determined by both entrance and merit. Only Delhi University students are admitted directly into the degree, making about 50% of the total seats. In order to fill the remaining 50% of the seats for the DU SOL MCom course, students from outside Delhi University must complete an admission exam and an interview or group discussion.
